There are multiple ways to navigate through an eTextbook:
- Dynamic Table of Contents
- Search by keyword or phrase
- Go To function
- Multi-page viewing (side-by-side, continuous, thumbnails or single page)
Table of Contents
The Table of Contents can be displayed along the left side of each eTextbook page or it can be closed to open up more room on the reader to view your eTextbook content.
You can also access the Table of Contents through the Outline view,
on the Table of Contents tab:
In either view, the Table of Contents can be used to access all areas of your eTextbook. Clicking on the name of a section, chapter or subtopic will take you directly to that place in the text. Note that any heading with a right-facing arrow next to it, can be expanded.
To search for key words or multi-word phrases within your eTextbook, click on "Search" button.
Enter your search terms. You can search by chapter, page or the entire eTextbook. The Search Sidebar will list all the search results in order and the searched for terms are highlighted in the text.
Go To function
You can go directly to a specific page by entering that page number in the Go To box located on the toolbar and pressing the "arrow" icon.
